The Hour One API (available for Enterprise users) allows for automated video production at scale, integrating seamlessly into your current workflow.
The API is designed to automate many parts of the video production process, making your workflow smoother and helping you create videos more quickly. This API, which is based on REST protocol, lets you create videos that adapt according to specific variables. These can include details like names, job roles, and company names, making each video unique.
Accessing the API
Your API key can be found by selecting your profile in the top right-hand corner of the dashboard (1), then 'Profile Settings' (2). Once the API is enabled in your account, you can find it under the 'Account' section. This key (3) is required to authenticate your API requests:
Using the API
To use the API, you need to select a template in Hour One Studio.
The API then allows you to automate your video creation process.
On each API request, you can customize the video by modifying the following parameters:
- Character
- Voice
- Colors
- Titles
- Media (Images and videos)
- Transcript
- Music
- Logo
