Password Authentication Protocols

Hour One supports the authentication options below:

  1. Google Authentication

    • Allow users to sign in with a Google account using the OAuth protocol.
    • To change your password, follow Google’s guidelines
  2. Email + Password

    Allow users to sign in with email and password, following the below password policy:

    • Minimum 8 characters
    • At least one uppercase letter
    • At least one lowercase letter
    • At least one number
    • 1 lowercase letter
  3. Single Sign On for Enterprise customers

    • Contact your CSM for details

To further increase login security, Hour One also offers multi-factor authentication for Enterprise Customers. To enable MFA:

1. Go to your profile settings in the top right-hand corner of the dashboard

2. Scroll down within the Account Settings page to the ‘Security’ section and select ‘Enable’ next to the ‘2 Factor Authentication’

3. You will then be able to use a QR code (1) or code (2) to complete the authentication

Note: You will need to install the Google Authenticator app to use MFA. Get it here from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
