Can I control the narration speed/volume?

The narration speed and volume cannot be controlled at the moment.

 

Can I add my own soundtrack?

Currently, you can select a soundtrack from our library. We are working on the option to upload one's own music

 

Can I create my own synthetic voice?

Yes! We offer the option to clone your own voice. You can read more about it here!

 

Do you offer translation services?

Reals is partnered with several translation vendors if required. This option is available only to our Enterprise clients

 

Can I add Closed Captions to my video?

Yes! Closed Captions are available only when being played online (Share link & Embedding). However, it is not available when you download the videos, you will need to download the subtitles

Any word that has the Pronunciation feature applied will ensure correct spelling in closed captions. 

The languages currently supported are: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch

If the language used is not supported, the CC will be presented in Phonetic English

Can I export Subtitles from my video to upload externally?

Yes! To export subtitles from your video, you will first need to generate the video (clicking ‘create video’). To learn more about creating and publishing, check out our article.

After the video is generated, select the three ellipses at the top of the video preview screen, then click ‘Download Subtitles’. From there, a VTT or SRT file can be downloaded that you can upload to any external system to add subtitles to your video!

Can I download subtitles in different languages?

Hour One enables you to translate your subtitles to different languages! To do this, hover over your desired export file type, then select the language you wish to export the subtitles in. This allows you to have the video in English for example, and export the subtitles in Spanish.

The current languages the subtitles can be translated to are: English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, French, Dutch, Japanese, Hebrew, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Korean, Arabic, Indonesian, Tagalog, Swahili, Romanian

Important note: If you are having issues with exporting subtitles, please re-render your video (’create video’ button) and try again after rendering is completed.

How can I get the best audio experience?

We highly recommend sampling all possible voices for the language that you desire. That way you familiarize yourself with what is available, as well as get the best possible voice and pronunciation for your transcript. Check out our page on pronunciation
